Coming into the match

After suffering a devastating 3-0 loss to German side Bayern Munich we clearly knew what was expected with this new Barcelona team. With a new dismantled team we are expecting many different sides to Barcelona. Which individual player is willing to seek the role of captain but also be the face of this new team.

Kickoff begins with F.C. Barcelona versus Granada in the fourth game of the league where we can potentially see a new team with a different lineup. Having players out for the game. A rotation with young experienced players making their debut. On the other hand we see a Granada who is seeking any points possible.

 Looking at this dismantled team and current season without their star player. After Lionel Messi leaving this summer Barcelona are seeking who can carry the team. Many players are there but do not have the high European level. Barcelona having to try and bring names isn’t enough to please the angry supporters of Barcelona. Only time will tell on who can be the solution to this problem. Supporters and critics are awaited and eager to see the potential each player has.

Final Result

In a low scoring game where Barcelona dominated on the stats score sheet but ended in a draw. We saw that Granada was looking for any positive result. We saw this young team running and fighting. However the difference was that changes were made and tactics. As a result we saw the tie coming with Center back Araujo clutching and scoring and keeping the season without any loses. Most of all this team can  battle through and  therefore pick up were they first discussed the goal for the team.
