Grand Theft Auto Release Disaster
Grand Theft Auto Release Disaster
Rockstar’s anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition, caused some controversy. This time, it is not for its usually controversy: it is about the bugs and overall look in the game. The game was officially announced about 2 weeks prior to the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III. On the anniversary a full trailer of the game was released leaving players skeptical about gameplay. Two days before its initial release date, the game was available to play on the PlayStation 4 and 5. Early in places like Asia and Australia on PlayStation consoles.
What is wrong?
Bugs present before still show up as well as some newer bugs such as unfinished textures, weird shaped character models as well with some gameplay being unplayable. As well as cutting majority of the game’s soundtrack. Including songs such as “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson, “Express Yourself” by N.W.A and “She Shells Sanctuary” by The Cult. The game received a day one patch after the official release date on consoles but completely removed from retail online on pc as Rockstar wanted to remove some files left initially in the game. Causing people who bought it on pc to not have the game for a couple of days. As of right now a week after its launch it has received heavy criticism from reviewers and the average gamer with no hope or insight of the game getting any better.
