Devil May Cry Coming To Switch

Capcom is making big moves as the classic title Devil May Cry is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The company announced this with a tweet saying,

“Relive the adventure that introduced the legendary Dante to the world with original Devil May Cry coming to #NintendoSwitch this summer.”

This seems to be Capcom’s goal this year as they have released Resident Evil 2 and Monster Hunter Generations in recent months. Nostalgia is in the air as they also released Devil May Cry 5 this year. With that game recieving great reviews it is the right move to bring the 2001 classic to the switch.

Many speculations and questions rise up with this announcement as well. One of them is the fact that why they don’t just release the DMC HD Collection instead. As all 3 of those games have been ported on older consoles, it should be easy to port them now. Another main question is the Smash Bros Ultimate Theory. As the game has yet to announce it’s DLC for this year people are now speculating that Dante may be in there.

Even though we haven’t seen gameplay yet with the game set to release some time this summer we should expect a trailer coming soon.
