When it comes to Halloween, there is always the need to watch a horror movie. The only question is, which movie should you watch?

Iconic Films

First released on Oct. 25, 1978, “Halloween” brought the idea of a serial killer dressed in a jumpsuit and a mask killing on Halloween night. With the release of “Halloween” Michael Myers was introduced and would soon be a big horror icon. “Halloween” is a classic horror film that is worthy of watching on Halloween night, where the film takes place.

Released May 9, 1980, “Friday the 13th” followed the story of teenage camp counselors trying to survive the night. This iconic slasher film paved the way for many other horror films and is a must-see film. The sequel, “Friday the 13th: Part 2” released on May 1, 1981, and introduced horror icon Jason Voorhees. Both films follow camp counselors trying to survive the night, but with a different killer, Jason Voorhees, rather than his mother, Pamela Voorhees.

Released Oct. 1, 1974, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” introduces Leatherface, a chainsaw-wielding killer who wears a mask of human flesh. Leatherface, another horror icon, attacks the protagonists of the film as they try to survive and escape from him. Yet another cornerstone of the horror film genre, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” is a must-watch film for horror enthusiasts.
