An elderly couple was found dead in Whittier on Monday after suspicion that the elderly man shot and killed his wife, then himself.

It happened in the 11800 block of Floral Drive when suspicion that an elderly man shot his wife and then himself. Whittier Police got report of the incident at 10:32 am.

“A family friend found the bodies. The couple was in their 80s” Lt Przybyl said.

According Pryzbyl, the preliminary information showed that this was a murder-suicide.

Police were told that the elderly man had many health issues.

Authorities have not yet identified the couple, according to the Whittier Daily News.
