Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital (PIH) will be sponsoring the Rio Hondo College summer blood drive for two days, July 24 and 25 in the business breezeway on campus from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m.

PIH will have a mobile RV to make it easy for students and staff to donate blood for the cause.

In order to donate you have to be at least 17 years old, or 16 with a signed parental consent. Donors have to weigh at least 113 pounds, be in good health and have no tattoos or piercings within the last 12 months.

It is advised that before donating you need to eat a nutritious meal and drink plenty of water.
Make sure to have a valid photo I.D with you the day of the blood drive.
