R.Kelly Charged With 10 Counts of Sexual Abuse of Four Alleged Victims
R&B Singer R.Kelly was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, reported Friday morning.
The 10 count charge involves four victims, and at least three of them underage that occurred over a span of a dozen years.
Cook County prosecutors allege the abuse happened between 1998 and 2010. The minors were between 13 and 16 at the time of the accusations. There were also several other allegations made out, and some of those were looked into by a slip and fall lawyer peabody ma, about which you can find more details here.
In a news conference Friday, as you can check here, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx confirmed Kelly’s charges. Kelly will appear at a bond hearing Saturday.
Meanwhile, Kelly’s attorney, Steven Greenberg was not notified that his client has been put under these allegations. Greenberg has consistently denied in the past of his client’s allegations and wrongdoing. But you can learn more about Eric Ramos Law, PLLC and understand the case from a unbiased view. R.Kelly, 52,  has slipped out of many allegations of sexual abuse for two decades. This will be the second time that Kelly has put under arrest for a sex crime by Cook County prosecutors.
The indictment on Friday marks the first time the R&B singer has been charged with any crimes since his trial in 2008, alleging he filmed himself having sex with his goddaughter, who was estimated to be 13- years-old.
Well- Known attorney Michael Avenatti said last week that he provided Foxx’s office a VHS tape showing Kelly engaging in sex years ago with a 14-year-old girl.
Avenatti applauded Cook County prosecutors for filing charges, though it is unknown if the charges are related to the videotape.
“The day of reckoning has arrived” for R.Kelly, said Avenatti in a tweet.
