Terry O’Neill to host CalComicCon

Comic Book dealer Terry O’Neill will host his 9th annual CalComicCon Jan. 25 at the Yorba Linda Community Center, 4501 Casa Loma Ave., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature artists and comic book vendors from all over California.

O’Neill said that the convention will give collectors a chance to focus on vintage comics, new comics and comic book art and will feature artists Ken Kelly and Thomas Yeates, who will sketch and sign many of their past artwork.  In addition, comic book legend Marv Wolfman will also be at his convention.

O’Neill added that there will be several raffle items available throughout the day including CGC graded comics, original comic book pages and guest artist sketches.

Kelly is a fantasy artist and has focused on paintings in the sword and sorcery and heroic fantasy genres and has done some covers for the castle of Frankenstein Magazine.  Yeates  is best known for his comic strips of Tarzan and Prince Valiant.

Admission to the convention is $10.
