The festival began with a Spanish film entitled “Sin Nombre” (Nameless), followed by another Spanish film entitled “El Secreto De Sus Ojos” (The Secret in Their Eyes) (which was released in Argentina).

He meets up with an old love interest of his who is also his superior at his workplace. Both his love interest and the case haunt him after being retired; something that could’ve been and a killer who is thought to still be on the loose.

The festival went on to show three other films afterwards; “Les Choristes”, “Wrestling with Angels” and “Eat Drink Man Woman”.

The Foreign Language Film Festival was overall a success as it showcased a wide variety of international films for Rio students to discover and watch.
