Rio Hondo plans to bring families together by screening a viewing of the cult classic movie, “The Goonies”, on Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. in the Wray Theatre.

“The Goonies” is a family adventure movie from 1985 which centers on loyalty and friendship, a perfect theme for a family event.

Admission is free to the movie; however guests should be prepared to pay a small $3 fee for parking.

Popcorn will be available on the house and there will be a costume contest for children in which the best dressed pirate wins.
