Rio Hondo will soon enjoy the musical talents of its staff, current students and alumni in an upcoming concert.

Frank and Friends will premiere in the Wray Theater on Oct. 21. The annual event is thrown by Rio’s very own professor, Frank Accardo (instructor of music and guitar).

Some of the musicians who will be taking the stage are Jess C. Hernandez Jr., Aaron Gay, Blanca De Los Santos, Mario Acosta, Andrew Serra, Juan Sixto, Cassandra Nevarez, and of course Accardo himself.

The concert will feature a variety of genres including South American popular styles and a Rhumba Flamenca by the Deep River Quartet.

Admission to the event is free, but attendees will have to pay a $3 fee for parking.
