Wendy Garcia is a freshman student at Rio Hondo. Garcia is a very reserved person but will gradually open themselves up when she feels empowered and encouraged. Although she is older than most of her classmates, Garcia has lived through a lot of challenges and obstacles that kept her from attending college earlier. Garcia is a hard-working person who has a very full and inconsistent day-to-day schedule. On top of working full-time and also being a full-time study, Garcia has recently became a first time aunt. Garcia comes from a small family. Her family consists of an older brother, her mother and father. For most of her adult life, Garcia's family of four was minimized into just three. The new addition has given her family a chance of redemption. This new addition has not only opened her eyes to the beauty of life but also the importance of love.
