The National Women’s Soccer League was established in 2012 but the women did not have any type of exposure that pro sports have

Fast forward to today in 2022, where the NWSL has a platform to perform thanks to the partnership with Paramount Plus and two expansion teams like Angel City FC and San Diego Wave FC  to add to the mix.

This league is on the path to success from now on due putting the players and owners first by receiving major publicity from major sponsors. 

In addition, one team in mind in the NWSL is our local team Angel City FC  and the ownership consists  Some well known females like Natalie Portman, Jenifer Garner, Serena Williams, Billie Jean King and other females who are part of the ownership group. 

However As for, Angel City FC can regroup from the disappointing preseason Challenge Cup play with only one victory under their belts.

Therefore, the new LA team has a home regular season kick’s off  this Friday, April 29th  vs. North Carolina Courage .

Meanwhile, as for our own U.S Women’s Soccer National Team who are participating in the new and improved NWSL

 Here are the current USWNT members playing for multiple teams like, midfielder Crystal Dunn – Portland Thorns,  Forward Christen Press – Angel City FC , and Forward Alex Morgan- San Diego Wave FC

Above all, this is just the start for the NWSL to rise above all the other professional women’s soccer leagues and welcome the next generation of young talented women soccer players to elevate their game on a professional level in the NWSL.
