NBA After All Star Summary & Predictions
As of March 2, 2022, the NBA has been back after a six regular-season game All-Star Break for six consecutive days of games, with this last stretch of the regular season coming to a close I have decided to cover both the Eastern and Western Conference. In this section primarily I will be going over the Western Conference.
West
The Western Conference has honestly been very disappointing and this can be accounted for due to the fact that I have talked with my friend, Luis Mojica on how he views each team and the predictions he has for each team. The standings are as follows:
1st seed – Phoenix Suns
2nd seed – Golden State Warriors
3rd seed – Memphis Grizzlies
4th seed – Utah Jazz
5th seed – Dallas Mavericks
6th seed – Denver Nuggets
7th seed – Minnesota Timberwolves
8th seed – Los Angeles Clippers
9th seed – Los Angeles Lakers
10th seed – New Orleans Pelicans
11th seed – Portland Trailblazers
12th seed – San Antonio Spurs
13th seed – Sacramento Kings
14th seed – Oklahoma City Thunder
15th seed – Houston Rockets
To sum up, Luis and I both believe that there are only 2 legit contenders in the west and those two teams are Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors. Seeds 3 to 9 all have a shot to make it to the second round but not really any real shot with the two contenders in the west. Seeds 10 to 15 are all rebuilding teams and need to take this last stretch to pick and choose which players are actually worth keeping to build a winning team.
East
So the Eastern Conference has been really entertaining, not only in terms of watchability but also in the range of championship contenders and sleeper teams. I have talked for hours with my friend, Luis Mojica about how he views each team and the predictions he has for each team. The standings are as follows:
1st seed – Miami Heat
2nd seed – Chicago Bulls
3rd seed – Philadelphia 76ers
4th seed – Milwaukee Bucks
5th seed – Cleveland Cavaliers
6th seed – Boston Celtics
7th seed – Toronto Raptors
8th seed – Brooklyn Nets
9th seed – Charlotte Hornets
10th seed – Atlanta Hawks
11th seed – Washington Wizards
12th seed – New York Knicks
13th seed – Indiana Pacers
14th seed – Detroit Pistons
15th seed – Orlando Magic
The Eastern Conference is filled with contenders and teams to look out for that range from the 1st seed to the 10th seed. The contenders are as follows Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Brooklyn Nets. The teams to look out for include the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Hornets, and Atlanta Hawks. With this comes disappointing teams with seeds 11 and 12 seeded New York Knicks who regressed from the 4th seed standing from last year. Seeds 13 to 15 are all intriguing rebuilding teams.
Ending Statement
Overall, I, along with a lot of NBA fans, am excited to see what the rest of this season brings us.
