First Impressions

Zion Williamson has shown the NBA that he belongs so far. In his first couple of games he has put on a show for the fans. From strong slam dunks to flashy dribble moves, he is making his overall talent look real. This isn’t anything new as he broke through the college game at Duke, but the NBA is a whole new level. Williamson is proving the doubters wrong with his spectacular abilities on the court. He may be playing against bottom tier teams during the preseason, but they are still putting out their best lineups every night. While playing against some of the world’s best basketball players, Williamson is making it look like he belongs amongst them.

Making a Statement

During the preseason, Zion Williamson has accumulated the most points along with the most minutes played for the Pelicans. The coaches for New Orleans are already making it clear that he is their main guy. In the first preseason game he logged 16 points in 27 minutes of playing time. He was also able to gather a lot of spectacular dunks throughout the game as well. Then in the second game Williamson went off as he scored 30 points and his team won the game. In just a short amount of time Williamson is already gaining the respect of his NBA peers. It might not be long until he is revered and thought of as a force in the league.
