Inter Milan and Manchester United Agree On Loan Deal For Alexis Sanchez
Inter Milan is close to signing Alexis Sanchez from Manchester Untied for a year loan with no option to buy.
Sanchez arrived to Italy on Wednesday to complete his medical before the transfer window closes on September 2.
The forward is set to play at the San Siro after the two clubs reached an agreement that will see United pay a part of his wages. According to reports in Italy, United agreed to loan Sanchez for 10 months while adding 6 million euros of his 391,000-a-week salary. Inter are ready to pay the remaining 9.46 million euros.
Sanchez has encountered a nightmare at Manchester United for 18 months since arriving from Arsenal in January 2018. He scored just five goals in 45 appearances and missed multiple games due to injuries. The last goal he scored was against his former club Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup.
During the Copa America in Brazil, Sanchez suffered a hamstring injury during the 3rd place match against Argentina. After his return to Old Trafford, Sanchez still couldn’t get playing time with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Sanchez has a bit of experience in the Serie A where he played with Udinese, before his transfer to Barcelona in 2011. He will join  teammate Romelu Lukaku who also joined Inter Milan for a club record fee of 80 millions euros.
Alexis Sanchez transfer has left Solskjaer with a very few attacking options for this season.
