When former Heisman winning quarterback Kyler Murray was picked 1st overall by the Cardinals it was nothing new to him. He was also picked early in the first round in the MLB draft. Nobody is really surprised by the pick yet they are skeptical about it. Many of Murray’s biggest critics think that he is too small for the NFL. They know that he has breakaway speed, but in the NFL speed isn’t everything. While playing at Oklahoma he displayed major arm talent, running ability, and a stellar way of reading various defenses. In high school Kyler Murray never lost a game and was a highly touted prospect as well. Then in his only year of starting at Oklahoma he took his team to the College Football Playoff. If the young quarterback was able to excel most of his life then the critics should wait and see how his gig with the Cardinals plays out.
