MLS Opening Weekend: Double Fixture For Los Angeles

MLS opening weekend comes to Los Angeles with a double fixture.

Los Angeles Galaxy will face off against the Chicago Fire Saturday and LAFC goes up against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday. Both LA teams will look to improve from last season.

LAFC fell out short after being upset in the first round of the playoffs, while LA Galaxy failed to qualify for playoffs for the second year in a row. Now under new manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto and a more motivated and accustomed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the LA Galaxy need to take back the role of title contenders.

On the other hand, the LAFC have the depth to be one of the best in the league like last season, but now they have the experience on how to play the important matches.

It will be a promising season for the city of LA. Both teams have the potential to go far and win the title.
