Rio Hondo will be hosting a variety of Earth Day activities on campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 20 in the upper quad.

There will be face and body painting, as well as free giveaways including; ice cream, reusable lunch bag, and free seeds with biodegradable pots to grow your own cilantro and wild flowers.

Following the event, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony from 2 to 3 p.m. for the new hydration station located in the student lounge.

The hydration station will provide students with free, filtered, and refrigerated water on campus.
