The ASRHC Cultural Diversity Committee is currently hosting their Multicultural Book Drive, a book drive that will benefit the Rio Hondo Children’s Development Center, through Feb. 19.

The committee is asking students and faculty to donate books that are not being used, in particular books featuring characters of color as many Pre-K children’s books lack diversity.

The goal is to receive 30 book donations which is easily achievable and all gender, ethnicity, and story lines are welcomed.

Students and faculty can drop off books at the Student Lounge in SU201.

The first 15 donators will receive a $3.00 voucher good at the Rio Café Coffee bar.
