Rio Hondo will be hosting a “Cash For College” workshop on February 6 to help students understand the various types of financial aid to support their pursuit of education.

The financial aid workshop will be offered at 9 a.m. in LR 128, followed by the FAFSA Application Lab at 10 a.m. in LR 129.

Students should bring their financial documents to the FAFSA Application Lab to receive on-hands support in processing their FAFSA Application.

Documents such as a drivers license, Social Security card, 2015 tax income information, and bank statements should be brought for the workshop.

The deadline to apply for financial aid is March 2.
