Strip down to your skivvy’s kids it’s time to get in summer break shape!
Beach season is right around the corner and for some the thought alone of baring it all at the beach is enough to send shivers down your spine, but that doesn’t have to be the case. With the start of the spring semester so begins the chaos that ensues Rio Hondo students regarding parking on campus. It’s a tale as old as time, students at the college understand the struggle to find parking at the start of every semester. The impacted parking lots aren’t the only thing overflowing with students on campus; the wait time for a tram ride has increased as well.
There is a simple solution to these troubles, and a physical benefit to aid your woes. Rio Hondo College is well known as the campus that sits at the top of a tall hill. While the hill stands as an inconvenience to many students, some decide to take the hill on full force. The trek of the hill might seem like a grueling task, there are many health benefits to skipping the wait for the tram all together.
Walking up the hill before class is a great way to wake your body up and get that blood pumping throughout your entire body. The incline of the hill is enough to leave you in a bit of a sweat once you reach the top but it is an excellent way to get your heart pumping. The faster your heart is beating, the more blood is being pumped through it at any given time which is excellent to ensure that your heart is in good health.
Lately big booty’s have been the most desired physical feature from celebrities to the every day woman alike.
Taking on this hill is a great way of strengthening those leg muscles. Before reaching the top of the hill you are sure to feel a strong burn in your calves, quadriceps and gluteal muscles simultaneously. The burn is a good feeling; it is your muscle stretching in a way that is unfamiliar unless working out physically. Now walking up the hill might not be as easy of a task as it sounds, some people might be able to make the hike with ease, and some might not to make a pit stop along the way.
Just like fitness, no two people are in the exact same physical condition. The important thing is to realize that and never push your body to do things that you are not ready for. Always listen to what your body is telling you because physical fitness is a long and difficult road. The most important part of achieving any fitness goals is to remain consistent in your workouts. Consistency is the key and anything is possible if you work hard enough to achieve it.
So the next time you are faced with the decision to either walk the hill or take the tram, remember that you just may be missing out on a great opportunity to shape and tone that booty for summer time.
