Tom Holland has been working hard in Hollywood recently. With many upcoming movies like Spiderman: Far From Home, to the newly announced Cherry. According to Variety the movie will be directed by the Russo Brothers. Tom is very familiar with them as he worked on their recent film Avengers: Endgame. Tom is slated to be the main character Walker. While the movie will be written by Jessica Goldberg, this film is based on the true story adapted to novel “Exit West” by Nico Walker.

In this book we follow a former medic who after the war in Iraq, suffers from extreme PTSD. This leads to Walker getting an opioid addiction and begins to feel the need to rob banks. Also from the report, several studios were in the bidding for the rights of the book. Russo’s team ended up on top and plan to start production on the film this summer. With Tom leading the movie we may even see another Marvel actor join the cast as well. Everyone should look forward for more info coming out about this film soon.
