Welcome back to Berk

The movie that everyone has been waiting for has finally come, How to Train Your Dragon 3 is now playing in theaters. The movie introduces itself to the audience with the night fury dragon who goes by Toothless, swooped his trainer, Hiccup, from a commotion. They both fled the chaos and went back to Berk safely where they call home. For those who are new to this film series, the Vikings are the first to create a dragon utopia where they all work together to build a stronger community. 

Love at First Sight

In the next part of the film, Toothless finds himself in a cave where he finds another fury dragon. This one, in particular, is a light fury dragon which happens to be a pretty gal. The two fury dragons begin to develop passionate feelings for one another, leaving the chief to feel obligated to let his buddy go. Hiccup and Toothless have been through so many adventures since the first two sequels of How to Train Your Dragon. The scene that really got the audience attention is when Hiccup found the hunter’s traps. This may be the last for the fury dragons.

Travel to The Unknown

Having a hunter who is after your dragon is not the the best highlight of anyone’s day. However, as chief, Hiccup did everything in his powers to protect Toothless, he is after all the chief’s dragon. The plan was almost successful due to the new relocation. The Chief comes up with a good plan and does a fine job taking over his father’s legacy. The mission throughout the film is to find the hidden world which is said to be at the end of the world. Parts of the film were full of laughter when the audience had the chance to witnessed Toothless trying to impress the light fury dragon. Although, Toothless did not have the best luck at charming his friend, so he decided to draw his crush on the ground with a stick.

Personal  Growth

In the next part of the film, the light fury dragon shows Toothless a new trick they can do with their powers. This is the part where Toothless learns how to use his power when he uses it to his full extent. Everything is going well, whereas, in the next scene it shows the Vikings are having a good time until one of their teammates, Ruffnut, returns. The mission is to get the dragons back from the hunter. After the battle, the chief realizes how important it is to think for the other person which led Hiccup to let Toothless go. This action inspired the others to give their dragons their freedom as well.

Legend Continues to Grow, New Experiences

The Vikings went on with their lives without the dragons. In the next part of the film, the chief married Astrid who helped him on this challenging journey. They eventually started a family of their own and they both continue to teach their kids about the true meaning of being a Viking and the legend of the fury dragons. It was such an emotional moment for everyone and the way how the movie ends is very heartwarming. Towards the end of the film, the movie reveals Hiccup coming across his old friend Toothless later in the future. The movie has some cute baby fury dragons, but to get a closer look, of the little fur ball, you must see it yourself! Tickets are available now at any local theaters.
