Highlights

The Los Angeles Dodgers destroy the Philadelphia Phillies in a 13-1 game. At the bottom of the first inning, Freddie Freeman of the Dodgers hit a single down the first base foul line. Freeman would later go onto score in the inning after Max Muncy hit a sacrifice fly. The Dodgers would then score two more runs in the bottom of the second inning, likely fueled by Dodgers rookie James Outman’s warning track catch in the prior half inning. This puts the Dodgers in the lead with the score 3-0. Phillies’s short stop, Trea Tuner hits the teams first home run at the top of the fourth. In the second half of the inning the Dodgers score one of their own, making the score 4-1. With bases loaded by the Dodgers at the top of the 7th inning, Chris Taylor makes a base hit brining two more scores, 6-1. Miguel Vargas follows with batting and brings home 2 additional scores. At the bottom of the eighth inning, with one on first, Freeman hits a pop fly advancing the Dodgers 10-1.  In the final moments of the game, Outman and Vargas hits help the Dodgers score and win with 13-1.

Bryce Harper

One of the most spectacular comebacks in baseball history is very close to being finished. After weeks and months of guarded optimism and updates that came ahead of schedule, this moment is almost here. Just 160 days after having Tommy John surgery on his pitching elbow, Bryce Harper is expected to make his comeback. Harper is on the lineup for Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is Harper’s first game back for the Phillies since he had the procedure. The  highly anticipated comeback was weak as he struck out in his first battling.

Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar

Also at the game was the Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar. Jimmy Cuellar was born in Bakersfield, California, and started his career as a mariachi musician when he was a youngster, performing with his father Jaime Cuellar. Jimmy Cuellar was also a founding member of Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar. His devotion to the art of music led him to hone his abilities on the violin, guitarron, vihuela, guitar, and guitarra de golpe, which led to a ten-year stint with Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano.
