The Best FIFA football awards 2019 were held on Monday, Sep. 24, where the best players and coaches, both men and women, for the 2018/2019 season were awarded. National team coaches, national team captains, fans registered to FIFA and journalists from countries who are associated with FIFA , all took part in the voting to choose the best of the best. Here is a list of the winners: 

The Best FIFA Men’s Player – Lionel Messi (Barcelona/Argentina)

 

The Best FIFA Women’s Player – Megan Rapinoe (Reign FC/United States)

 

The Best FIFA Men’s Coach – Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool FC)

 

The Best FIFA Women’s Coach – Jill Ellis (United States Women’s National Team)

 

The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper – Alisson (Liverpool FC/Brazil)

 

The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper – Sari Van Veenendaal (Atletico Madrid/Netherlands) 

 

FIFA Puskas Award – Daniel Szori (Fehérvár FC/Hungary)

 

FIFA Fan Award – Silvia Grecco

 

FIFA Fair Play Award – Barcelo Bielsa and the Leeds United squad
