Friday, May 1 Aaron Augustine took gold in the 1-meter diving board competition at De Anza College’s second day of hosting the California Community College Athletic Association 2019 State Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship.

The Rio Hondo Roadrunners diver recorded a 287.50 which bettered two-time champion Josh Hamby from San Joaquin Delta’s 273.80. Ending hopes of a three-peat for the Delta diver.
