The curtain goes up

the lights hit center stage

the music starts and your heart begins beating

The shy girl you once were transforms into a performer

Her nerves disappear and her attitude lights up the stage

her smile reaches everyone in the audience

In that moment all is still , problems you had don’t exist anymore, and the only thing that matters is you and the music

Your body lets go, you feel free and with out a care in the world

Your feet glide across the stage and your eyes shine just like the bright lights

For those five minutes you turn into someone else, your confidence is radiant, your attitude tells a story, and you lose yourself with the music and movement

That shy girl you once knew is now an entertainer and all eyes are on her
