About Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is the latest addition in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s superhero roster. My Thoughts

I walked into the theaters with my father to watch a superhero movie and we were not disappointed with result of the film. Captain Marvel is much welcomed addition to the MCU and in my opinion is one the strongest heroes, if not the strongest in the MCU. Brie Larson plays Captain Marvel well as someone who is funny, brave, strong, and confused.  Captain marvel tells an interesting story with its typical Marvel humor and characters you meet along the way. In this installment to the MCU, you meet old characters such as Nick Furry played by Samuel L. Jackson and agent Coulson played by Clark Gregg, as well as other past characters. But one of my favorite things apart of this movie is what happens before the movie, where the studio pays a little homage to Stan Lee, who died recently last year.

Should you go see this movie?

This is a fine movie superhero movie to watch with family and friends. This is the first female superhero to have her own film in the MCU. I feel that they did a good job portraying the character and the connection between her and Sammuel L. Jackson is funny to watch. I would give this movie an 8/10 for it’s humor and decent story; if you have nothing to do on the weekend and want to go entertain yourself, I would recommend go seeing this movie.
