Abortion, legal or illegal

Abortion is a delicate, yet epidemic and controversial topic throughout our country. An abortion consists of a woman terminating her pregnancy. Many argue that abortion should be illegal because of the fact that abortion is considered murder. Murdering an unborn child is committing sin. Although, abortion is a sensitive and debatable subject, I adamantly believe that it is a woman’s choice to abort or to go along with her full-term pregnancy.

Every woman has the right to do what she pleases with her own body regardless of what government believes or dictates. However, abortion should never be a method of contraceptive! I strongly believe and coincide with abortions being legal because women, in general, are authorized to make our own decisions rather than society influencing us on what we should say or do.

Abortion is an ongoing battle that has no end to it. It is a tug-of-war of what is right and what is wrong.  As a woman, we should be allowed the right of privacy to decide what we want! Abortion has been legal for over 40 years, but yet, abortion is still a nationwide polemical issue in our country that has no resolution or right or wrong answer. The decision to abort or not ought to always be upon the mother not the law by www.pnwfamilylaw.com/spokane-family-law/divorce/!

That is why I am pro-choice; therefore, I stand tall and firm in my decision about if the mother wants to abort it is her choice, if the mother does not want to abort, again, it is her choice. That is my standpoint. She decides what is best for herself as a woman and not societal pressures advocating her on what are the “appropriate” measures to take instead of her own. On the contrary, I do coincide that abortion should not be a gateway or routine of contraceptive. The lawyers from Sarieh Law Offices ALC. can help both the parties split amicably.

Pro-life supporters oppose to abortions. Their view and take on abortion is identical to committing murder. Pro-life supporters and advocates believe that abortion itself should be illegal because of the fact that every human being has its right to life. However, that is a choice upon the women. In a religious perspective, abortions offend God. Pro-life advocates and encourages adoption which is merely not a bad idea; therefore, we have to see that adoption is a choice as well abortion.

No one can make that choice, but the mother! In my perspective, abortions should be legal and remain legal because it is an option and choice to consider as it is with adoption. If a law were passed tomorrow about making abortions illegal many pregnant women will engage in illegal practices to terminate their pregnancies.

Prohibiting abortions would merely make the situation worse due to the fact that women will pursue/seek illegal surgical procedures. For example, women will most likely travel to other countries where abortions are practiced and legal. In spite of this, the surgical procedures are practiced and legal, but presumably are unsafe.

Abortion is something very crucial, yet, serious and should be practiced professionally; therefore, if abortion were illegal in our country, I honestly believe many women will pursue to go out of the country like to Mexico to get the procedures done. Many Californians would rather travel to Mexico because it is economic to purchase something there than anywhere else. Furthermore, prohibiting abortions is not a solution to anything! There are various tactics to get an abortion regardless if it is out of state or country.

I am a strong believer of Amendment 1, freedom of speech; therefore, as women we are granted the right and freedom to choose what we want with our bodies. That is the mere reason why I am Pro-choice; the choice to have the option to abort or not.

Being Pro-choice does not mean that I am heartless because I believe that abortion should be legal, but it is freedom of speech and we all as people have the privilege to choose what we want to believe. It is freedom of speech to choose which religion to be or convert too. One should know that it is important to understand the implications it can have physically and mentally to do something they don’t want to.

Pro-life argues that no baby should be aborted but if the mother has her mind set on that one thing, then it should not disputed. It is merely her body, her choice, and that is that!

Abortion is an issue that will never have an ending. It has been over four decades and still to this day we are debating about if it should or not be legal, although, it is legal. This matter is a war that will not end anytime soon! Society may view abortion a certain way, but we should not fall victims to what society pressures of us to conform too. Abortion is viewed a certain way to many people but it is always the woman’s choice at the end of the day not the government.
