Whittier’s Seventh Annual Classic Car Show

Whittier’s Seventh Annual Classic Car Show

amassed thousands of people, all representing the strong passionate community the city prides itself on, February 25, 2018.

The car show has been seven years running, this year being hosted by the Whittier Area Community Church, whose grounds were littered with tents, stages, food trucks, Vendor Booths, Games and 375 pre-1976 Cars.

The greatest aspect of the Whittier community is the response given from each individual. While other people from the surrounding area do participate, the people of whittier do come to these events and do contribute. The dozens of car clubs contributed, alongside 40+ different Vendors and sponsors.

The awards given out for the vehicles are: Best of Show, Top 5 Hot Rods, Top 5 Street Rods,Top 5 Muscle Cars, Outstanding Truck, Outstanding Antique, Outstanding Foreign Car and Outstanding Custom.

Over the years,

the proceeds from the Car show are put towards community projects, with this year’s profits being put toward nondescript Whittier Area Community Projects and to help fund a Whittier Union High School District Scholarship honoring fallen Whittier Police Officer, Keith Boyer.
