Three Car Collision Adds to Parking Woes First Week of Semester

A three-car collision involving Rio Hondo students occurred on Wednesday morning, February 1 at 11:15 a.m.

The first vehicle, a Ford Cruze, drove East, up College Drive, trying to make a left turn.

The driver did not see the second vehicle to his left, a Toyota Scion, coming West down College Drive. The driver hit the back of the second vehicle.

The collision continued with the second vehicle crashing into the back of a third vehicle and crashed into the right-hand side of the curb.

The driver of the first vehicle had his arm in a sling but Highway Officer Boyd said, “No drivers received serious injuries in the accident.”

All drivers declined to give their names or statements.
