Constitution Day

On September 17, 1787 the US constitution was signed by thirty-nine brave men who changed the course of history.

This past Monday Sept. 17, Constitution day was celebrated in Rio Hondo College’s Student Union at noon time.

Fun activities were being played such as balloon popping and trivia games.

Instead of being boring and just giving out random facts about the constitution there was questions being asked about it to see how much the students knew, and if answered correctly students were given raffle tickets to win prizes.

Students were not too eager however to put their knowledge to the test.

Celebrating the signing of the Constitution has been a tradition here on campus but overcoming the difficulty of getting students more interested continues to be getting the best of event organizers.
