During the community college week of the “Top 100” Degrees Lists, Rio Hondo was ranked to have one of the best degree list to offer.

Rio Hondo was listed under the annual rankings for the nation’s community college top degree-producing community colleges that were recently published. This year’s list’s are based on 2011 data from the U.S. Department of Eduaction.

Rio Hondo communuity was listed as 87th in the nation for associate degrees for all disciplines awarded to minority students; as listed 39th in the nation for associate degrees awarded in all disciplines to Hispanic students; and as 29th in the nation for homeland security, law enforcement, firefighting and related protective services.
