Recently I moved to Whittier and now that I’m gaining familiarity within the area I have found out that this city has tons to offer.

On Greenleaf Avenue there is a clothing boutique that carries some of the cutest styles I have seen. From contemporary to chic this place has it all.

Eeden’s Boutique, located on 6738 Greenleaf Ave, carries jewelry, clothing, and soon they will be selling two different lines of children’s merchandise.

While walking through the store the clothing offers comfort while also being trendy. The pieces are all reasonably priced.

Every item is unique and represents individuality. While going to the mall there are often pieces that look the same, but when you come here everything is fresh and original.

While I was at the Eeden’s I had the chance to speak with the owner about the shop. I asked her about what inspired her, and why she chose to open up in Whittier.

Eloisa, opened up the boutique in July 2013. Her inspiration to open up was her role as a stay at home mother to her daughter.

While being home and balancing motherhood she started buying pieces that fit her style. Eventually she freelanced by selling pieces to people she knew.

From volunteering at fashion shows she gained more knowledge in the industry. The pieces in the store reflect a mixture of upscale brands to everyday casual clothing.

She describes it as “contemporary with flavor”. The boutique is located in Whittier due to the vintage feel that Greenleaf Avenue has to offer.
