Magic The Gathering Artist Seb McKinnon Raises $175,000 in Four Days for Short Flim

Seb McKinnon, a well known artist for the trading card game, Magic The Gathering, has had major success for his fund raising Campaign. McKinnon is set up on a site called Kickstarter. This site is where anyone could propose an idea for funding and people can donate as much as they like. With this support also comes rewards, as creators can choose what people receive depending on what they donate.

In the fundraiser, McKinnon goes on to promise “After receiving multiple requests from fans and players I am offering all new play mats and prints featuring my latest work, in exchange for donations towards my feature film project called KIN Fables: The Stolen Child.” A sample for this film project could be seen in McKinnon’s music video series titled KIN.

This Campaign has already amassed $175,000 in the span of four days. His older Kickstarter has also raised a lot of money, with the total at end of 60 days being $395,648. This project has 56 more days to go so there’s no telling how much money will be raised. If this is something of interest or simply want more information on the link to the Kickstarter here.
