“Kingdom Hearts 3” to Feature Original Voice Actor

Originating the lead character of the franchise, actor Hayley Joel Osment returns to voice Sora.

After a 13 year wait since the last numbered installment, the “Kingdom Hearts” franchise is finally having a proper sequel next Spring. Actor Hayley Joel Osment, now 30 years old, is confirmed to return to voice the main character Sora. Other main characters such as Riku and Kairi have yet to have their voice actors confirmed which David Gallagher and Hayden Panettiere originally voiced them respectively.

For those who are not aware of what the franchise consists of, “Kingdom Hearts” is a collaboration between Square-Enix and Disney characters. In a huge crossover spanning nine games, including the third installment, fans have eagerly awaited the latest entry since it’s announcement at E3 2013. Now with “Kingdom Hearts 3” nearing close to it’s Winter 2019 release, Square-Enix has officially announced the talent voicing the Disney characters featured in the game. Another Disney property that’s included in the game is “Big Hero 6” with the voice actors still yet to be announced.

Since Disney plays a huge role in the franchise, many were wondering if the original voice actors who provided the vocals for their respected characters would make a return. This seems to be the case with several actors coming back with new additions to the cast.

Hayley Joel Osment – Sora
