Muse Adds Pressure to Their New Song

The British rock band Muse has been releasing singles lately to build up hype for the upcoming album “Simulation Theory” that’s set to release November 8th. The whole album is a cyberpunk retro theme. Using a lot of retro sounds to give that nostalgia effect. It’s working out for them too. When you listen to a few songs you feel like you’re listening to a Blade Runner soundtrack.

This new single is definitely a banger. Right off the bat, you feel the energy from start to finish. Even though the full album has not released, this might be one of the best songs yet. The song is nothing less than amazing and that’s not the best part of it.

It’s actually the music video that is a work of art. Basically, it is Gremlins meets Ghostbusters. The video sets up an 80’s homecoming dance with Terry Crews as the principal setting the rules for the night. Similar to an 80’s movie with kids sneaking out causing trouble and having fun.

Things take a turn for the worst when a couple accidentally turns a few animals into man-eating creatures. The dance becomes a feeding ground, but Terry isn’t having it. You see him suit up with a badass outfit and Ghostbuster blaster and begins to defend everyone he can. In the end, they seem to be a little overwhelmed. Closing with Terry and the band, surrounded by the people who turned into zombie-like creatures.
