Ariana Grande Reveals Album Title

The ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ Singer Announced SWEETENER.

Ariana Grande co-hosted The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon recently. While on the late night talk show she announced the name of her new album! ‘Sweetener’ Grande’s upcoming album will be released this summer. Her fourth album, her first since the tragic Manchester bombing, is produced by Pharrell and Max Martin.

‘Sweetener’ will be released on July 20th. Grande’s first single ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ already hit the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 3rd place. The songstress will release a new single on every 20th of the month which makes two more songs before the big day!

She even announced some songs on the track list! “R.E.M.”, “The Light Is Coming” and “God Is a Woman.”

Fallon asked about what the title meant and Ariana said,

“It is called Sweetener because it’s kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone’s life or somebody else who brings light to your life or sweetens the situation,”

The Manchester incident clearly had an effect on the process of making this album. The video for her lead single, features a bumblebee which is an homage to Manchester. Fallon recalled the incident saying,

“I haven’t seen you since the tragic events that happened in Manchester. I know it’s tough for everybody, tough for fans, and tough for you.” he said. “Thank you so much for coming on the show and for being strong, for entertaining, for showing up, for going back to Manchester and doing a benefit. I just think you’re so strong.”

Ariana Grande’s strength is most definitely shining through and her album will hopefully broaden that strength.
