‘FYF Fest’ 2015 returns to LA

The “FYF Fest” returns to Los Angeles this weekend for two days of musical entertainment. This year’s lineup consists of a large variety of artists that will most likely have a little something that will suit a good majority of people’s musical taste buds.

Acts such as Morrissey, Frank Ocean, Dinosaur Jr., Death Grips, D’Angelo and The Jesus and Mary Chain are sure to please a diverse crowd of concert goers. The FYF Fest turns 12 this weekend as this will be it’s twelfth year running. What once started out as a one day affair has turned into a two day music festival.

With a mild forecast in regards to weather this weekend, the only thing that should be heating up the stage this weekend are the musical acts.

The FYF Fest begins this Saturday and ends on Sunday. Music goers are able to enter the event when the gates open at 2 p.m. The first acts start on five different stages at 2:30 p.m., so choose wisely. The day begins to wind down a little past midnight.

The festival is located at the L.A. Sports Arena and Exposition Park. Those that don’t want to battle for or pay for parking can take the Metro Expo Line and get off at the Expo/Vermont station. Signs will be made available to guide you to the venue.

The best way to see the acts that you want to see without frantically rushing through the park like a rat on amphetamines in search for the round of cheese is to take a look at the schedule and from there create your own schedule of which bands you would like to see. If you don’t know who to see. I always recommend reviewing the music of various artists. In doing so, you may find something new that you may have been missing out on that may help you to decide. Stay hydrated and watch out for the sweaty armpit face plant.
