One of the more recent films Marvel Cinematic Universe released was “Guardians Of The Galaxy”.

At the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige announced the beginning of Phase 3.

He surprised fans with special details confirming the debut of many upcoming sequels including “Captain America”, “Thor”, “The Avengers” and “Guardians Of The Galaxy”.

Come 2016, Marvel plans to release “Captain America: Civil War”, a film about the combination of Iron Man and Captain America (played by Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr).

Marvel also announced that on Nov. 4, 2016, “Doctor Strange” would hit theaters.

“Doctor Stephen Strange, brilliant neurosurgeon, bit of an arrogant fellow who gets in a car accident and ruins what he thinks are the tools of his trade: his hands”, said Feige.

The sequel to “The Gardians Of The Galaxy” will also be released on May 15, 2015.

Thor will also be back and taken to a new level in 2017 as “Thor: Ragnarok” picks up where “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” leaves Thor.

For the first time ever, “Black Panther” will also make a debut on the big screen on Nov. 3, 2017.

Chadwick Boseman will play the Black Panther in the upcoming film.

“Black Panther and all of Wakanda is one of the most interesting characters in Marvel history,” remarked Feige.

Marvel will also introduce their first female-led movie with “Captain Marvel” on July 6, 2018.

Feige stated, “This film has been in the works almost as long as ‘Doctor Strange’ or ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ before it came out, and one of the key things was figuring out what we wanted to do with it. Her adventures are very earthbound, but her powers are based in the cosmic realm.”

Lastly in Phase 3, will be the first part of “The Avengers: Infinity War”.

Marvel has great things in store for their fans these next few years.
