First City Festival’s return dates released for Summer 2014

Goldenvoice is proud to announce the return of its highly successful boutique, music festival to the Monterey County Fair and Event Center on Saturday August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th.

More than 20,000 attendees enjoyed First City Festival in its inaugural year last August, exceeding original estimates for the festival, which is named after the city’s claim as the official ‘first capital’ of California.

Held over two days, the festival consisted of three music stages with performances by bands such as Passion Pit, Modest Mouse, Capital Cities, Beach House and more.

The festival also included a full carnival, handmade jewelry and art vendors, a Vaudeville variety stage, gourmet food purveyors and much more.
