A lot upcoming for Dana White of UFC

2012 was a big year for UFC injury wise. So 2013 may very well be a year of The Super-fight. On Sept. 10, UFC President Dana White told HD Net’s  “Inside MMA” that not only is a Anderson Silva (32-4 MMA,15-0 UFC) vs. George St Pierre (22-2,MMA,16-2 UFC) fight looking like a possibility, only if George St Pierre  can defeat his upcoming opponent Carlos Condit in his next big fight, but the fight Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones (16-1MMa, 10-1 UFC) also may very well happen as well. Dana White had this to say to reporters, “as you start to get to a point in Anderson Silva’s career, the guys beaten everyone you could think of, he’s broken every UFC record to date. If the Silva vs. George St Pierre fight happens you could definitely see Silva eyeballing Jon Jones next.”

Silva who was recently in a bout during July against his nemesis Chael Sonnen, who Silva put down for a second time, has been silent while questions about his next fight linger on. More contenders continue to move up and emerge into the 185 pound class including, Michael Bisping, Tim Boetsch, Brian Stann, Chris Weidman among others. Dana White has suggested that “The Spider” (Anderson Sliva) is instead getting ready for a possible Super-fight against Welterweight Champ St-Pierre, should St-Pierre win against interim candidate in November’s UFC154 event, more on this Super-Fight to continue in later articles.
