‘Womyn’s Herstory Month’ activities to be held on campus

RHC will be holding a variety of on-campus activities in honor of “Womyn’s Herstory Month” on March 23.

The mid quad area will feature activities such as games, giveaways, photos, and much more from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and again from 3 – 6 p.m.

The student lounge in SU201 will host a Womyn’s Herstory Jeopardy Competition from 1 – 2 p.m. where students will be able to compete to win prizes.

“Herstory” is history written from a feminist perspective that emphasizes the role of the women or is told from a women’s point of view.

Students are encouraged to participate in the activities and honor the lives of historical women figures such as Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, Anne Frank, and Malala Yousafzai.
