Seize the benefits of the Honor Transfer Society

For six years now the Honor Transfer Program has helped countless of students as those involved in program receive benefits that help them while attending Rio Hondo and with personal enrichment. Due to the success of the program, members of the program created the Honors Transfer Society Club.

To be involved with the club students must meet specific requirements as follows. Attend an honors orientation meeting. Complete all general education transfer requirements. Complete all lower division prerequisites for your particular transfer. Students that have completed the Honors Transfer Prep for the major as established by the transfer school. Maintain an overall college GPA of at least 3.2.

Benefits offered by the club are based on campus, but not all. Some on campus benefits include small classes, direct interaction with instructors, and personalized honor counseling. Off campus benefits are privileges to a couple of University of California libraries and contribute in a student research conference.
The club’s ultimate purpose is to assist students develop their full potential on academics and transfer to a four year university by supporting activities on and off campus.
