Tyler the Creator Scores Two New Shows

Tyler the Creator has been one of the most influential artists of our generation for his capability of feeding the youth the artistry that they want and need. As one of the youngest entrepreneurs who is currently making moves in the industry, he recently added two more accolades to his illustrious resume.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Tyler will be getting a show on the up- and- coming television station, Viceland. Viceland is known for their out of the norm shows such as Bong Appetit, a cooking show centered around cooking with marijuana. The station is also not shy for giving rappers their own shows based on their ideas like their show F*ck, That’s Delicious about rapper, Action Bronson’s adventures making and trying different foods. The station also has strong ties to music with their hit show, Noisey, which highlights different genres of music in different cities which made waves when they highlighted the trap scene of new age Atlanta featuring the Migos and Young Thug.

Now adding to the network’s variety of shows is the new reported show for Tyler the Creator called “Nuts and Bolts.” Fans of the young Golf Wang creator will be familiar with the name of the show as it is named after a short that was published on his Golf Media App which was centered around the young rapper directing a music video for his “F*cking Young” music video.

Tyler continued his winning streak when Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim counterpart announced that they will be featuring the rapper’s show, “The Jellies!” on their network. The network has chosen to collaborate with Tyler once again after they released his hit show, “Loiter Squad,” which ran for three seasons and ended in late 2014.  The show is an animated series that follows a family of jellyfish and their human son, Cornell. The show will follow Cornell trying to discover his true self when he discovers that he was adopted by his family at birth.
